St. Benoist, the patron saint of our town.
* A boat remember that Saint-Benoist-sur- Wed was a port until the first part of the eighteenth century.
* A handful of clovers - according to legend, Abbe Baudry tells us that the Puck Gargantua (recumbent stone located outside the village), was a place of pilgrimage. In spring, the people would make a handful of clubs on the stone to protect the horse Mallet - horse evil that takes vagaonds night to the Other World (special article legends forthcoming). Otherwise, they could wear around their neck the medal of St Benoist-called "Cross Stone".
* Rabbit who smokes a pipe ... obviously (!)
